inet on ethernet (e): x.x.x.x:ffffff00 (This is the Secure
Router's Ethernet address:netmask.)
inet on backplane (b): Not needed.
host inet (h): x.x.x.x (The ip address of the tftp server.)
gateway inet (g): x.x.x.x (Your router's address- not
necessary in the same subnet.)
user (u): wind (This is a required field.)
ftp password (pw) (blank = use rsh): wind (This is a
required field.)
flags (f): 0x8a
target (tn): Nortel
startup script (s): Not needed.
other (o): lnPci (This is a lowercase "L", not a "1".)

At this point, you will be at the Nortel prompt [Nortel
Boot]. Type @ and press Enter. This will boot the
Secure Router from the network.

Once the Secure Router is booted and you have logged
in, you must format the Flash by issuing the following
command:
file format NCM

When the format is complete, follow the upgrade
procedures to finish the process. (See Upgrading Secure
Router Software on page 36.)
NOTE: Remember to connect to the TFTP server that
contains the T1000.Z file.
