If the information displayed in the information mode should be
too long for a single line, you can move the cursor with the LEFT and
RIGHT key.

Volume Settings

We saw before that you can change the volume while you are in a
connection. If you want to change the volume outside of a conversation,
you can do this in the volume settings menu. The phone will start playing
tones so that you can hear how loud the selected volume is.

Other Settings

In this menu, you can do two things: Change the contrast and
change the DHCP mode.
You can change the contrast in the same way you change the
volume. Contrast is a trade off between readability and flickering. If you
set the contrast too low, it will become hard to read the display. If you set
the contrast too high, the display will significantly flicker and it will also
become hard to read the display.
The contrast is sensitive to temperature. It might be neccessary
to adjust the contrast after a few hours of operation, when the tempera-
ture of the phone has stabilized.
The DHCP menu is only required when yo change the fundamen-
tal setup of the phone (e.g. move it to a different network). It works ex-
actly like described in the initial chapter.

Locale

The settings in the locale menu have already been setup in the
installation wizard. They may be changed here if you made the wrong
decision or if you mode the phone to a different zone.
