The following illustration shows the location of the motherboard jumpers. Pin 1
is labeled.

Jumper Type Description
JP1 3-pin Clear CMOS
JP3 3-pin BIOS Protect
JP8 & JP9 3-pin CPU Frequency

Setting (default)
1-2: Normal
2-3: Clear CMOS
Before clearing CMOS,
make sure to turn off the
system.
1-2: Normal
2-3: Clear CMOS
