THERMOSTAT REMOVAL

1. Remove the two screws (1).
2. Pull out the thermostat (2).
TOP END REMOVAL
CYLINDER HEAD COVER
1. Remove the two screws (1) to remove the cylinder head cover
(2).
TIMING CHAIN TENSIONING RAIL REMOVAL
1. Remove the two screws (1) to remove the timing chain ten-
sioning rail (2).
CAMSHAFT SPROCKET REMOVAL
1. Remove the two screws (1).
NOTE
If it is not possible to remove the camshaft sprocket screws, re-
move the variomatic cooler cover and turn the crankshaft (2).
