1 Remove the base cover.
2 Remove the I/O-board interposers.
3 Remove the battery.
Procedure
1 Disconnect the speaker cable from the system board.
2 Remove the two screws (M2x1.7) that secure the left and right speakers to the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
3 Note the speaker-cable routing and remove the cable from the routing guides on the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
4 Lift the left and right speakers, along with their cables, off the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
