Cause & Remedy
• 4 handsets have already been registered to the base
unit. To cancel a handset's registration, see page 81.
• You may have registered one of your handsets to
another base unit without deleting its registration to
this base unit. Erase the handset's registration from
the base unit.
For the KX-TG5240 base unit:
(1) Press and hold [LOCATOR/INTERCOM/
TRANSFER] for 3 seconds, and (2) Press and hold
that handset number (1 to 4) for 5 seconds.
• When you tried to download data from openLCR, the
unit lost communication with openLCR.
Re-access the openLCR web site, and try again
(p. 93).
• When you tried to download phone book data from
openLCR, the phone book memory was full. Erase
items which do not exist on the web from the phone
book of the unit (p. 43). Re-access the openLCR web
site, and try again (p. 94).
