Lens unit mounting method

Preparation: Removing the lens cover (→ see page 9)
NOTE:
• Once the lens covers are removed, it will activate the protection circuit. After mounting the lens, securely install the lens cover.
* NP-9LS08ZM1 is used on the explanatory illustration.
1. Remove the front and rear lens caps on the lens unit:
NOTE:
• Pay enough attention not to touch the lens surface, it may be cause
of soil and scratch damage.
2. Mount the lens unit onto the projector.
① Alight the connecting positions of the lens unit to the
projector connector socket and insert the lens unit
straight.
② Turn the optional lens clockwise until click sound is heard,
the optional lens is mounted on the projector securely.
3. Remove the lens hood. (For NP-9LS08ZM1 only)
① Remove the lens hood fixing screw by a 2.5mm hexagon
headed driver.
② Turn the lens hood and remove it from the optional
lens.
