1-6. Mounting / Removing the lens cover

This section provides guideline information on how to mount and remove covers on the projector.
Name of the cover
NOTE:
• The lens cover equips the key lock. The service key is required to mount or remove the lens cover.
• Once the lens cover is removed, the protective circuit is activated.
Make sure to mount the lens cover securely. The set metals are equipped also at the lens left and right sides. Push the sides of
lens for mounting the lens cover securely.
• Do not power on the projector without mounting the lens cover.
• When removing or installing the lens cover, return the position of the lens to the center before turning off the power to the projec-
tor (See page 31).
Preparation: Service key (supplied with the projector)
1. Unlock the lens cover.
Unlock the cover using the service key.
2. Remove the lens cover.
The lens cover is secured to the projector body by two claws each at the
cover top and bottom and one claw at the side of lens.
Hold the cover sides and pull toward you.
This completes removing the lens cover. To mount the cover, perform the removal procedure in reverse. Make sure to
lock the key. If the cover is not properly mounted, an error may occur. Securely push all five claws into the position.
