• The meter must be in the OFF position and discon-
nected from any circuit or input.
• Place the meter face down and loosen the battery
cover screw with a flat head screwdriver.
• Replace the old battery with a new 9V battery.
• Replace the battery compartment cover and tighten
down the screw.
