Step 6: Remove the used test strip either by pushing the ejection button (if available)
or by pulling it out with your hand. The meter will turn off automatically. The meter will
also time-out after 2 minutes of inactivity.
Step 7: Remove the used lancet from your lancing device. You can use the lancet
ejector to prevent needlestick injuries. Push the lancet ejector forward with the thumb
and discard the lancet according to local guidelines.
