Using the pocket tester, measure the resistance
between the lead wires in the following table.
If the resistance is not within the specified value, replace
the magneto coil, with a new one.
Stator coil resistance
Pick-up coil
Charging coil
Tester knob indication : Resistance ( Ω Ω )
CAUTION
When mounting the stator on the magneto cover,
apply a small quantity of THREAD LOCK " " 1324" "
to the threaded parts of screws.
