Listening to the sound of
other audio devices
Connect other audio devices to this system in
advance (A page 11).

Press DAB/AUX/TV SOUND to
select "AUX" or "SOUND TV" on the
display window on the main unit.
• Each time you press DAB/AUX/TV
SOUND, the display changes in the display
window as follows.
- "AUX" when selecting the device
connected to the AUX IN terminals
- "SOUND TV" when selecting the TV
connected to the AV terminal.
- "DAB" when selecting Digital Audio
Broadcasting as the source (A page 37).

Play other audio devices.
For details, refer to the manual of the device
connected.

Adjust the volume and the
sound quality of the system
(A page 19).
NOTE
• When "SOUND TV" is selected in step 1, the desired sound
may not be produced depending on the connected TV.
Adjust the sound input
level of the audio device
You can adjust the sound input level of another
audio device connected to the AUX IN jacks.

Press DAB/AUX/TV SOUND to
select "AUX" on the display
window on the main unit.

Hold down MEMORY until an
input level is displayed.
Each time you hold down the button, it switches
as follows:
LEVEL 1: Select this normally.
LEVEL 2: Select this when the input level
from the other device is too high
and the sound is distorted.
The initial setting is "LEVEL1".

Auto Standby

If there is no operation for 3 minutes while the disc
is stopped or no DAB signals are received, the
power will be automatically turned off.
You cannot use this function when TV sound or a
device connected to the AUX IN terminals is
selected as the source.

Press A.STANDBY.
"A.S.ON" (Auto Standby On) and "A.STANDBY"
will be lit on the display window on the main unit.
When playback of a disc/file finishes or no DAB
signals are received, the auto standby function
starts a countdown.
At this time, "A.STANDBY" starts flashing. If no
operation is carried out for 3 minutes, the main unit
automatically turns off.
"A.S." starts flashing 20 seconds before the main
unit turns off.
Releasing Auto Standby
Press A.STANDBY.
"A.S.OFF" (Auto Standby Off) will appear and
"A.STANDBY" will be turned off on the display
window on the main unit.
NOTE
• When the source is other than the disc or a radio
broadcast (DAB), Auto Standby does not work.
