Chapter 3: Registering Exchange Servers
Use the following procedure to register an Exchange server.
1. From Web-Admin click MS Exchange Server, under Repositories in the
navigation pane, the Add Repositories tab appears:
2. Fill in the following fields:
Repository Type: Should already be set to Exchange, if it is not, change it.
Name. Enter a reference name (for the IS1200 to use when listing this Exchange
filer in menus, for instance when specifying classification targets). File system
names must be unique.
WARNING!

Metadata Repository. Select a metadata repository from the drop-down menu to
associate with the NFS file system, or let the IS1200 auto select one.
Exchange Options
Identity. From the drop-down menu, select the

Exchange Server. Enter the Exchange server pathname to register as a repository.
This must be the server name and cannot be an IP address. If the host is not
registered with DNS, it should be added to local/etc/hosts.
Connector Server. Enter the pathname or IP address to the KES server created
and configured to access the Exchange server above.
Connector Port. Leave the default of 80 as is, unless your IS1200 Administrator
tells you differently.
Domain. Enter the domain name that the IS1200, the Exchange server, and the
KES occupy.
Process hard deleted messages. Check this option to crawl emails in user
accounts on the exchange server that are not visible to the user. For example,
