Print Using a Computer (P-touch Editor)
IMPORTANT
• If you are going to connect the Label Printer to your network, we recommend that you contact your system
administrator before installation. You must confirm your Wi-Fi settings before you proceed with this
installation.
• To configure the Wi-Fi settings again, or if the status of the Wi-Fi connection for the Label Printer is
unknown, reset the Wi-Fi settings of the Label Printer. For more information on resetting the settings, see
Reset the Label Printer on page 132.
• When you turn on the Label Printer for the first time after purchasing it or after resetting it, the Label Printer
enters the mode for configuring the wireless settings easily. Start the installation after turning on the Label
Printer.
Note
To achieve the best results with normal everyday printing, use the Label Printer as close to the Wi-Fi
access point/router as possible with minimal obstructions. Large objects and walls between the two
devices as well as interference from other electronic devices can affect communication, or the data
transfer speed of your printing.

a
First, write down the SSID (network name) and password (network key) of your Wi-Fi access
point/router.
b
Turn the Label Printer on.
c
Start the installation and proceed according to the on-screen instructions.
Note
If the screen for selecting the network appears, select the SSID that you wrote down.

computers that are on the same network as the Label Printer will have access to the Label Printer.
