It is recommended that you use Smart mode rather than Performance mode. (Steps:
Settings > Advanced settings > Battery manager > Smart).
Close all unneeded applications running in the background. To do this, touch the Recent
key on the virtual navigation bar, and slide up to close all applications.
Uninstall unneeded power-intensive applications. (Touch Settings > Advanced
settings > Location access to check if there are applications consuming a large amount
of power, and choose the ones you wish to uninstall.)
Do not use live wallpaper. Live wallpaper will significantly reduce your battery life. It is
recommended that you use static wallpaper.
Turn off functions you are not currently using: Wi-Fi
hotspot/Wi-Fi/GPS/Bluetooth/Mobile data/NFC. Switch off the Auto-Sync
button/Smartcare.
Disable Mobile data always on (Settings > More > Mobile network > Mobile data
always on).
Select Never (increases data usage) under Keep Wi-Fi on during sleep (Settings >
Wi-Fi > Menu > Advanced settings).
