Insert the new controller module. Carefully push the controller until you feel the
contact resistance when the board edge connectors are engaging the back-
plane. Push the ejection levers upward (indicated by the blue arrows) and fas-
ten the retention screw on the ejection levers.

Reattach all cables.

For single-controller models or when replacing both controllers simultaneously,
power on the system. Check for system messages on the LCD screen, SAN-
Watch, or firmware menu-driven utility. When the replacement controller is suc-
cessfully brought online, the power-on status LEDs should turn on.

For single-controller models or when replacing both controllers simultaneously,
restor NVRAM data. To restore previous ID/LUN mapping settings, users may
use the "Restore NVRAM from Disks" or "Restore NVRAM from Files" functions
in the firmware. ID/LUN mapping will be restored.
