OVER LOADING, OVER FIRING AND OVERHEATING

This is a digitally controlled automatic fuel-feeding furnace. No over loading is possible.
Furnace operates by tested pre-set modes (low-high-idle). Therefore, no over fi ring is possible.
If blower fan malfunctions while furnace is running, furnace will come to complete shut down by "high temp
shut off" protection. Therefore, overloading and overheating will be prevented.
6.10 SHUTTING THE FURNACE OFF
Press and hold in the on-off button on the control panel for few seconds on the control panel to turn the fur-
nace off. Keep in mind, doing so will require re-starting fi rst fi re operation all over again (if you re-start after a
short time, like 10-15 minutes, check the fi re pot, there may still be some core fi re in it).
6.11 IDLE MODE
Your furnace has built-in idle mode. There are two ways idle mode is functional.
1. Manual:
It has to be manually set by pushing the button on the control panel (no room thermostat condition). We
recommend use of manual idle mode when you will be away for long hours or a few days or do not want to
turn the furnace off completely and save fuel. Hot air blower will only come on-line from time to time to
prevent furnace overheat. This mode eliminates re-fi ring of the furnace when you come back to the house.
NOTE: display will indicate the mode.
2. Automatic:
It is automatically activated by the room thermostat during normal furnace operation. This means furnace
will keep a core fi re (idle mode) going even when house does not call for heat or will provide minimum heat
to maintain a warm house. Hot air blower will come on-line from time to time based on temperature set
limits. NOTE: display will not show the mode as "idle mode" when in the automatic mode, but the
furnace will automatically go into "idle mode" when the thermostat is no longer calling for heat.
During this mode display will show 81 seconds count down.
6.12 POWER FAILURE
In case of power failure* your furnace
panel will be in off position when power comes back on.
- If it is short power failure (like less than 7-8 minutes): there may be core fi re in the pot to take furnace on-line
without going through fi rst fi re operation. Please check and see. If so, you may turn on the furnace by
pushing the on button on control panel. Then press the fi rst fi re button to re-activate the fi re.
- If there is no power for a longer time: apply fi rst fi re operation all over. You may also use this as an
opportunity to do some maintenance/cleaning in the fi re pot.
* Greater than 10 second duration.
will not re-start
automatically. This is due to safety concerns. Control
