Questions and answers
my power is out...can I hook my 9600 Napolean gas furnace to a 4000/8000 pure sine inverter hooked to 2 very large fully charged truck batteries
A Napoleon 9600 Series gas furnace requires a 120 VAC power supply and is protected by a 15 amp over-current device (circuit breaker or fuse). If a 4000/8000 pure sine inverter can supply 120 VAC with sufficient continuous power (at least 15 amps or 1800 watts) and is connected to two large fully charged truck batteries that can support the furnace's power draw, then the furnace can be connected to it during a power outage. Proper grounding and safety precautions must be followed.

A Napoleon 9600 Series gas furnace requires a 120 VAC power supply and is protected by a 15 amp over-current device. If the 4000/8000 pure sine inverter can provide a continuous 120 VAC output with at least 15 amps capacity and the two truck batteries can supply enough current to support that inverter output for the needed duration, then the furnace can be connected to it during a power outage. The furnace must also be properly grounded, and all wiring must follow safety codes.

I need help with my furnace connections. I have the Napoleon 2 stage gas furnace WPV070T3AA-N and a Napoleon Heat Pump WSEHV2436RA1-C. Please find attached a connection diagram of my system. My installer does not know where the W1 terminal on the heat pump goes on the furnace connection terminal strip. (Accidentally indicated as W2 on my diagram) I have a G wire so I can control my **** when not calling for heat, I **** having my thermostat control the high/low heat and that is why I have W1 and W2 going to my furnace from the T6-Pro thermostat. I have already put Jumper 5 to the 'NONE" position and I have cut the W39 jumper as outlined on your installation manual. Now, I know you will tell me to talk to my installer, but I have has 3 different "professionals" to my place to find a solution to this problem, but 2 of them did not even know what 'G" wire was used for, and my installer is completely incompetent. I have already spent $300 trying to solve this wiring and I think of all people you guys should know how to wire it properly. Thanks for your help.
Connect the W1 terminal from the Napoleon Heat Pump WSEHV2436RA1-C to the W1 terminal on the Napoleon 2-stage gas furnace WPV070T3AA-N. This allows the furnace to receive the first-stage heat call signal from the heat pump or thermostat. Ensure wiring is done using copper conductors and good quality wire connectors as specified.
