7. If the cutting line (20) breaks and does not protrude out of the
opening in the spool housing (19), first unscrew the spool housing
from the gardening tool.
8. Undo the screw cap of the spool housing. The inner spring will push
out the bottom part of the spool housing.
9. Guide the ends of the cutting lines through the spool housing
openings and re-tighten the screw cap on the spool housing.

Wear solid shoes and eye protection, the string may throw loose
objects into the air quite violently.

Use the string trimmer only with attached safety hood.

Use the unit only for its intended use, i.e. for cutting grass and
weeds.

Never lift the cutting head higher than your knee during operation.

On slopes always work with the cutting head facing uphill.

Avoid touching the trunks or roots of trees. Damage to the bark may
harm or kill the tree.

The cutting lines will wear down or break over time. This will result
in deteriorating cutting performance. Press the spool housing to the
ground or a hard surface briefly during operation to push the
release button. This will unlock the spool and release fresh cutting
lines.
