If the oil level in the tank does not drop, the oil duct in the housing
and the guide bar may be clogged. Check and clean it as needed.
Caution! The saw can re-oil. Please note that the saw re-oils after
use and oil may leak out if it is stored on its side or on the head.
This is a normal process. As each saw it checked during production
and tested with oil, a small residue may be in the tank.

Checking the Chain Lubrication

Hold the running chain saw about
15 cm over a suitable surface for a few
moments. If the oil thrown from the
chain forms a slight track on the
surface the lubrication is sufficient.
Do not use the pole pruner if the
lubrication is insufficient.
Operation
Observe the country-specific and local authority regulations. Do not
work during commonly accepted or mandatory rest periods.
• Before starting the gardening tool, check:
- the tension of the saw chain,
- the oil level,
- all nuts and screws are fitted firmly
• Wear suitable protective clothing.
• Adjust the working length of the gardening tool (using the extension
pole).
• Put on the shoulder strap.
• Check you are standing safely and check your working surroundings.
