Mounting the Auxiliary Handle
It is not allowed to operate the garden
tool without mounting the auxiliary
handle (11)!
Mount the auxiliary handle by using the
included screws onto the shaft of the
motor unit, as shown in the picture on
the right.
Mounting the Shoulder Strap
Always use the shoulder strap (17) when operating the garden tool.
Switch off the garden tool before removing the shoulder strap.
Attention! There is risk of injury.
1. Mount the karabiner hook of
the shoulder strap on the
shoulder strap lug (12) of the
garden tool.
2. Adjust the length of the strap.
The karabiner hook should be
situated at the level of the hip.
Before mounting any of the attachments, familiarize yourself how
to start the motor unit!
Switching ON and OFF the Motor Unit
1. Insert the power plug into the socket.
2. First push the safety switch (13) with your thumb forwards and then
depress the ON/OFF switch (14) in order to switch on the garden
tool.
3. Release both switches in order to switch off the garden tool. Wait
until the motor comes to standstill before setting down the garden
tool.
