Four-digit diagnostics display
To remove or install a four-digit diagnostics display in the flex module, do the following:
1. Prepare your computer. See "Preparing your computer and removing the computer cover" on page 103.
2. Disconnect the four-digit-diagnostics-display cable from the four-digit-diagnostics-display connector on
the system board. See "Parts on the system board" on page 38.
3. Remove the flex module out of the chassis. See "Device in the flex bay" on page 105.
4. Lift the clip on the rear of the flex module, and then slide the flex module cover to the rear of the flex
module.

5. Press the two clips toward each other and push forward the four-digit diagnostics display. Then, pull the
four-digit diagnostics display out of the flex module.

6. To install a four-digit diagnostics display, do one of the following:
