7. Position the flex module cover on the flex module. Ensure that the rail guides on the bottom of the cover
engage the rails on the flex module. Then, push the cover to the front of the flex module until it snaps
into position.

8. Install the flex module into the flex bay.
9. Connect the card reader cable to the 15-in-1 card reader connector on the system board. See "Parts on
the system board" on page 38.
10. Reconnect any removed cables to the flex module.

eSATA connector or IEEE 1394 connector
To remove or install an eSATA connector or an IEEE 1394 connector in the flex module, do the following:
1. Prepare your computer. See "Preparing your computer and removing the computer cover" on page 103.
2. Do either of the following:
• Disconnect the eSATA connector cable from the eSATA/SATA connector on the system board.
• Disconnect the IEEE 1394 cable from the IEEE 1394 adapter.
3. Remove the flex module out of the chassis. See "Device in the flex bay" on page 105.
