Mail kit

The Mail Kit allows you to create, send, read, and save your messages.
Your phone receives four kinds of messages: voicemail, text and e-mail, numeric
pages, and browser messages. To access the Mail kit, press [OK/Message].
Note: Contact your service provider about activating the sending and
receiving short messages. This feature will only be available if your
service provider supports it in the network.
The Mail kit contains the following six menus:
New Messages
Voice
Txt Inbox
TxtOutbox
Filed Msg
Message Setup
New messages
You can simply create text, numeric page, or e-mail messages to send to another party.
Each message can be sent to up to 10 mobile numbers or e-mail addresses at a time.
Message options allow you to set priority, validity period, or send message after a
specified time. You can also file yet to be sent draft messages into the filed messages
folder to send them later on, or save the sent messages to the Text Outbox to review
delivery status.
Note: Sending message is only supported in the digital networks and only if your
service provider supports this feature in its network.
1. Press [OK/Message] for the Mail Kit menu.
2. Press [1 .-'] for New Messages.
3. Press [1 .-'] for Send To. This is a required field for entry. Once this field is
entered, you can send the message at any time by pressing [SEND].
4. Press [MENU] to select from Address options Phone Number, E-mail, and Phonebook.
- Phone Number: Enter the destination mobile phone or pager number of up to
32 digits using the keypad.
- E-mail: Enter the destination e-mail address using the keypad. You can enter
only up to 48 characters. (See "Add E-mail" on page ?? for entry method.)
- Phonebook: Access the phone book to retrieve a number or an e-mail address
you wish to send the message to.
Note: For e-mail addresses, at the bottom right corner of the display is a
character counter showing how many characters allowable remain for entry.
5. After entering the Send To number or e-mail address, press [OK/Message] to
return to the New Message menu. Notice that the Send To area is updated
with the first few digits or characters of the number or e-mail address entered.
6. If you wish to send the same message to multiple recipients:
- Press [OK/Message] again or press [1 .-'] to go to the multiple addresses menu.
- Entry '0' is the first destination entered from above. Press [OK/Message] or
[1 .-'] for entry number '1'.
- Select from the three Address options by scrolling and pressing [OK/Message].
- Enter the additional mobile number or e-mail address and press [OK/Message].
- Notice that the Send To field is updated with 'Multi' marking notifying you that
the message is addressed to multiple recipients.
- To add more recipient addresses, repeat the above 6. steps. The multiple
destinations entered will be updated on the Send To list.
