4. Place the new air cleaner element
in the air cleaner housing.
5. Reinstall the air cleaner housing
cover, and snap the four hold-
down clips back into place. Make
sure they are securely latched.

Fuel Filter

The fuel filter should be replaced
according to the time and distance
recommendations in the mainte-
nance schedule.
It is recommended to replace the
fuel filter every 40,000 km, or 2 years,
if the fuel you are using is suspected
to be contaminated. In a high dust
environment, the filter may become
clogged sooner.
Have a qualified technician change
the fuel filter. Since the fuel system
is under pressure, fuel can spray out
and create a hazard if all fuel line
connections are not handled
correctly.
