Brake System Indicator
Slow down and pull to the side of the
road when it is safe. Because of the
long distance needed to stop, it is
hazardous to drive the vehicle. You
should have it towed and repaired as
soon as possible (see
on page 327 ).
Towing
If this indicator comes on for any
other reason, have your vehicle
inspected by your dealer. There may
be a malfunction with the electric
brake distribution (EBD) system.
Avoid hard braking and high speed
driving.

You will also see the symbol ''
with a ''CHECK SYSTEM'' message
on the multi-information display if
there is a problem with the brake
system or the front-to-rear braking
Emergency distribution system.
'' If you must drive the vehicle a short
distance in this condition, drive
slowly and carefully.
If the ABS indicator comes on with
the brake system indicator, have
your vehicle inspected by your
dealer immediately.
