5 Compliance

5.9 FCC Statement

5.9.1 Federal Communications Commission Interference

This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class A digital device, pursuant to Part 15
of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference when the
equipment is operated in a commercial environment.
This equipment generates, uses, and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance
with the instruction manual, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. Operation of this equipment in
a residential area is likely to cause harmful interferences that users will be required to correct at their own expense.
Any changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void the user's
authority to operate this equipment.
This product complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the following two conditions: (1) this
device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) this device must accept any interference received, including in-
terference that may cause undesired operation of the device.

5.9.2 FCC Radiation Exposure Statement

Modular Approval for use as a module in mobile-only RF exposure conditions. Antenna gain, including cable loss,
must not exceed 5 dBi in Cellular Band and 3.3 dBi in PCS band to comply with power limits and RF exposure
thresholds. The antenna(s) used for this transmitter must be installed at least 20 cm away from all persons. The an-
tenna(s) used for this transmitter must not be co-located or operate together with any other antennas or transmitters.
End-users must receive the information necessary to meet RF exposure compliance for final host devices and install-
ations.

5.9.3 FCC Part 68 Notice

This equipment complies with Part 68 of the FCC rules and the requirements adopted by the ACTA.
If this equipment [Enterprise Router] causes harm to the telephone network, the telephone company will notify you in
advance that temporary discontinuance of service may be required. But if advance notice isn't practical, the tele-
phone company will notify the customer as soon as possible. Also, you will be advised of your right to file a complaint
with the FCC if you believe it is necessary.
The telephone company may make changes in its facilities, equipment, operations or procedures that could affect the
operation of the equipment. If this happens the telephone company will provide advance notice in order for you to
make necessary modifications to maintain uninterrupted service.
If you experience trouble with this equipment, you disconnect it from the network until the problem has been correc-
ted or until you are sure that the equipment is not malfunctioning.
Please follow instructions for repairing; not to alternate or repair any parts of device except specified.
If the telephone company requests information on what equipment is connected to their lines, inform them of:
