3 HARDWARE
A 9-pin RS232C serial port is located on the F60 faceplate for programming with a personal computer. All that is required to
use this interface is a personal computer running the EnerVista UR Setup software provided with the relay. Cabling for the
RS232 port is shown in the following figure for both 9-pin and 25-pin connectors.
The baud rate for this port is fixed at 19200 bps.

In addition to the faceplate RS232 port, the F60 provides two additional communication ports or a managed six-port Ether-
net switch, depending on the installed CPU module. In the following table, multiple Ethernet ports are supported, but only
one can be used at a time. For example, the 10Base-F (normal) port and 10Base-T (alternate) port are supported in the 9G
module, but only one can be used at a time.
The CPU modules do not require a surge ground connection.
