General Settings

DB3010 provides you with protected access to the device settings.

Security

In order for the security of DB3010 to be enhanced, a new username and password could be set
from the menu. You can choose between two types of log in.
• As an administrator (admin) – It will give you full control over the device's settings;
• As a user – that will allow you to just monitor the device and to choose different stations,
while the settings bar remains locked.
NOTE: All user name and password fields support up to 31 characters. These settings can use
any symbol with a character code between 32 and 125 in the ASCII character table. This includes
all small and capital letters, numbers and the following symbols:_,.<>/\=+(){}[]&%~|@

General

• Alias – by choice, you can change the name of the device. Later on, it will be used as a title
name for all WEB pages. Customizing the name will make the device more recognizable.
• Region – allows you to specify the region in which the device will be used. Three options are
available - Europe, USA and Japan. The RDS standard utilized will be changed accordingly.

WEB Log

The maximum storage time of the system log file is chosen from here. If the file is older than
the specified maximum will be deleted.
Date & Time
Used to manually set the current Date and Time. [Copy Local Time] button will set the date and
time to correspond to that of your computer.
