b Meter panel
Trouble
1. The glow lamp does not
go on.
2. The charge lamp does
not go on.
3. The oil lamp does not go
on.
4. The fuel remaining
amount alarm lamp does
not go on.
Check item
(1) Check by hand if the glow relay is running.
(2) Check the meter-side coupler for disconnection.
(3) Interchange the disconnection check relay and the
light relay.
(4) Check if a voltage is applied to the bigger meter
coupler (9).
(5) Check the lamp for blowouts.
(1) Check the fuse (10A) for blowouts.
(2) Check the coupler of the alternator for disconnection. Repair or replace
(3) Check the meter-side coupler for disconnection.
(4) Check the lamp for blowouts.
(1) Check the fuse (10A) for blowouts.
(2) Check the coupler of the oil switch for disconnection. Repair or replace
(3) Check if a voltage is applied to the coupler of the oil
switch.
(4) Disconnect and body-earth the harness terminal of
the oil switch and check if the lamp goes on.
(5) Measure the engine oil pressure.
(1) Check the fuse (10A) for blowouts.
(2) Check if the charge lamp and the oil lamp are lit up.
Lit up: Normal
Not lit up: Abnormal
(3) Check by hand if the disconnection check relay is
running, or interchange the disconnection check
relay and the light relay.
(4) Body-earth the harness terminal of the fuel sensor.
Lit up: Normal
Not lit up: Harness broken
(5) Check the panel lamp for blowouts.
