    18V 4 pc Combo 8083362 Cordless Tool Kit General Instructions and Battery Charging Please read these instructions fully before use. Before inserting the Battery into any of the tools • Ensure any fittings (eg saw blades) have been fixed firmly and that any adjustment devices (eg hex wrench) have been removed • Ensure the relative fasteners have been secured tightly in place and the work piece is adequately secured • Always ensure the battery is disconnected before making any adjustments Power connection • The fuse in the power cord on the charger should always be replaced with one of identical rating. Check that the voltage given on the charger matches the supply voltage.

    Specifications • 18 V Ni-CAD battery • 0 to 900 RPM • 3/8" keyless chuck Changing the saw blade • First, become familiar with the saw components and their set-up. Undo the blade retaining hex screw using the supplied hex wrench. Remove the screw, pull off the blade clamp, and the blade to be replaced. Place the new saw blade into the larger slot on the clamp and align the hole in the jig saw blade with the hole in the clamp. Place the jigsaw and clamp assembly onto the motor arm, making sure all 3 holes are aligned. Insert the hex screw and tighten. Ensure the jigsaw blade teeth are facing outward. Cutting angle • The base plate of the jigsaw can rotate up to 35° for angled cuts. To adjust the cutting angle, loosen the base plate angle adjustment screw. Tilt the base plate to the desired angle. Retighten the adjustment hex screw. Cutting • Before use, ensure that the work piece is clamped firmly in place. Depress the trigger locking button and the on/off trigger simultaneously to begin blade operation. Allow the blade to come to full speed before starting a cut. This makes it quick and easy to replace sanding pads. The sanding pad must align perfectly onto the sanding plate. • When the pad is in position, the sander is ready to operate by pressing the on/off trigger.
