Possible Cause
On/Off Valve 7 in 'OFF' position.
Insufficient air pressure.
Damaged Trigger Valve (45).
Air leak.
Low air pressure.
Build up of debris inside the Nose
Equipment (1).
Stem Collector (3 ) removed or not fully
attached.
Air leak.
Low air pressure.
Worn or broken Jaws (1g).
Low oil level or air in oil.
Build up of debris inside the Nose
Equipment (1).
Collector Bottle (3) removed or not
fully attached.
Worn or broken Jaws (1g).
Broken rivet stems jammed in Nose
Equipment (1).
Loose Jaw Guide (1f).
Week or broken Spring (1j).
Incorrect Nose Piece (1a) - (1c) for rivet. Refer to ProSet Nose Equipment
Incorrect Nose Equipment (1) for rivet.
Build up of debris inside the Nose
Equipment (1).
Jaw Guide (1f), Nose Piece (1a) or Nose
Housing (1d) not seated correctly.
Week or broken Spring (1j).
Excess hydraulic oil or air present in oil.
Incorrect Nose Piece (1a) - (1c) for rivet. Refer to ProSet Nose Equipment
Broken rivet stems jammed in Nose
Equipment (1).
Broken rivet stems jammed in
Hydraulic Piston (18).
Debris in Nose Piece (1a).
Remedy
On/Off Valve (7) to 'ON' position.
Adjust air pressure to within
specification.
Replace.
Tighten joints or replace components.
Adjust air pressure to within
specification.
Service and clean Nose Assembly (1).
Check Collector Bottle.
Tighten joints or replace components.
Adjust air pressure to within
specification.
Fit new Jaws (1g).
Prime tool.
Service and clean Nose Assembly (1).
Check Collector Bottle.
Fit new Jaws (1g).
Service and clean Nose Assembly (1).
Tighten jaw guide against Pulling
Head (1l).
Fit new spring (1j).

Correctly assemble affected parts
Fit new spring (1j).
Prime tool.
