Intended use

This phone is part of the Aastra 5000 communication system and has been specifically de-
signed for operation on this system.
Aastra 5000 is an open, modular and complete communication system which includes
iPBX (referred to as "system" in the user documents), several extension cards, modules
and a complete range of system terminals, including IP system terminals. The system, in-
cluding all elements, has been designed to cover, based on a comfortable solution, all the
telecommunication requirements of companies and organisations. The various elements
of the complete system have all been designed for use with each other. They must not be
used for any other purpose or replaced by third-party elements (except in case of integra-
tion via the interfaces available for this purpose, other networks, applications and author-
ised terminals.
