Before commissioning
General information
This data is evaluated along with data from
the sensors on the engine, such as those
for:
charge-air pressure and temperature

coolant temperature
fuel temperature
oil pressure
The data is compared with the maps and
characteristic curves stored in the engine
control unit.
Injection timing, period and volume are
calculated based on these comparisons
and the solenoid valves are actuated to ad-
just the unit pumps accordingly.
