This chapter explains how to manage user access to content on the VMC 1000.
This chapter contains the following section:
• About Users
Users refers to all users who have access to VMC 1000, either as a Site
Administrator, a Content Owner, or a Viewer. Each user is assigned one or
more roles, which defines a set of permissions allowing access to certain areas
of the application. For more information users and roles, please refer to
Chapter 1,

"About the VMC 1000."

Only a domain using the VMC 1000 realm allows a Site Administrator to
manage individual users. If the domain uses an LDAP realm, user
characteristics are read from the datastore and cannot be edited.
The following instructions are for VMC 1000 realms only.
To add a new user:
From the menu, click Users.
