CHAPTER 6: SETPOINTS
350 FEEDER PROTECTION SYSTEM – INSTRUCTION MANUAL
GND TOC RESET
Range: Instantaneous, Linear
Default: Instantaneous
The "Instantaneous" reset method is intended for applications with other relays, such as
most static relays, which set the energy capacity directly to zero when the current falls
below the reset threshold. The "Timed" reset method can be used where the relay must
coordinate with electromechanical relays.
GND TOC DIRECTION
Range: Disabled, Forward, Reverse
Default: Disabled
This setting provides control to the Ground TOC function in terms of permitting operation
upon fault conditions in the selected current flow direction, and blocking it, when faults
occur in the opposite direction.
A special case is considered when fault direction is undefined. Then "BLK OC DIR UN"
setting in Ground Directional defines the fault direction.
