Before using the Scale 1. Before using the scale, remove the shipping protection screw (rotate counterclockwise), which is located underneath the scale. This screw ensures protection of the load cell during transportation. 2. Fit the stainless steel pan over the plastic pan. Levelling the Scale To compensate for small surface irregularities or inclinations, the scale can be levelled.
Operation: Basic Functions Switching on the Scale The scale’s ON/OFF switch is located underneath the scale. Press to power on the scale. The scale will first test all of the display segments. The scale will now go into weighing mode and should show 0kg on the display.

Setting the Scale to Zero If for any reason the scale shows a reading other than 0kg it can be reset to zero. Press the ZERO/ESC key once. The scale will return to 0kg. Page 8...
Operation: Advanced Functions Tare and Pre-Set Tare Functions Press the TARE key for three seconds to enter Preset Tare setting mode. Enter the weight of the container using the M/HI key to increase the weight and the PRINT/LO key to decrease the weight.

Upper Weight Limit Checking Long press the M-/HI and the leftmost number will start to flash. Use the numeric keys to edit the value or use the M-/HI and PRINT/LO keys to increase or decrease the value. Press G N/SET to start or close weighing checking.

Basic Counting – Unit weight memory When there is a weight displayed on the screen, press the UWS/ITEM key. Enter a number for each unit weight. Use </MR or TARE/> key to shift and M-/HI or PRINT/LO key to change the value. Press the M+/SAVE key to confirm and save or ZERO/ESC to return to weighing mode without saving.

Sample counting Before counting, you will need to weigh a sample so that the scale can determine unit weight. Place a sample of the items you wish to count onto the weighing pan (or into a tared container) and input the quantity using the numeric keys.

Accumulation – adding up weight data You can total up several batches using the accumulation function. To accumulate weight data, place the first item on the scale. Press the M+/SAVE key and the first weight is displayed for a moment before the display reverts to normal weighing mode.

Accumulation – adding up count data To accumulate count data first weigh a sample (see page 15). Place the first item/items on the scale and press the UWS key. Press M+ to save the count to the scale’s memory. The item/items can then be taken off the scale.

Switching from g to lb Long press the G N/SET key to enter the setting mode. Use the </MR and TARE> keys to shift between setting options. Go to SET02 and press the G N/SET button to enter unit setting mode.
