Unit (maintenance part) replacement
If a failure occurs, check it in "5.1 Help Information," and take corrective action. After that, if
the situation does not improve, the unit can be assumed to have malfunctioned. Replace the
hardware according to the following procedure.
For the IP-HE950, the main unit itself is regarded as a repair unit.
If the unit malfunctions, replace the main unit itself.

SFP module (maintenance part) replacement
If a failure occurs, check it in "5.1 Help Information," and take corrective action. After that, if
the situation does not improve, refer to "5.3.4 Cable and SFP module removal procedures,"
and change the module.
5.3.4
Cable and SFP module removal procedures
The interface connectors of this unit are densely packed in any installation. Therefore, in an
installation in a 19" rack, for example, it may be difficult to take out cables and SFP modules.
In such cases, take out cables in the order that they can be disconnected.
When removing an SFP module, hold down the unlock mechanism while you pull it out directly.
Never forcibly remove the module because that may cause damage. For details, refer to "2.7
"Connection to Quad Link 3G-SDI Equipment."
