Installing the Print Driver

This section explains the procedures for adding printers to Mac OS X.
Before starting, verify that the USB or Ethernet port has been selected to match your computing environment with
the printer. For details, see the documentation that came with your printer.

Installation Procedure (Mac OSX 10.3.9-10.8)

Install the PostScript Printer Description (PPD) file.

Start Mac OS X.

Insert the PostScript Driver Library CD in the CD-ROM drive.

Double-click [FXOPS-PS].
The FXOPS-PS window appears.

Open [English] > [MacOSX10.3.9-10.6] or [MacOSX10.7-] (depending on the version of Mac OS X you are
running) > [DocuPrint_XXXX] folders in this order.

Open the [readme] file from the folder displayed, and read the information related to the installer.

Double-click [mac103ps.dmg] (in the [MacOSX10.3.9-10.6] folder) or [mac107ps.dmg] (in the [MacOSX10.7-]
folder).

Double-click the installer.

Click [Continue] on the confirmation message.

In the first screen of the installation program, click [Continue].
The license screen appears.

Read through the license agreement carefully and if you have no objections to it, click [Continue].
