The runtime is defined as the period from the start of the centrifuge to the beginning of the deceleration phase. The maximum value is 99 h 59 min 59 sec.

One can select a linear rise (curves 0-9) or a quadratic rise (curves 10-19). The acceleration curves 20-29 can be programmed as desired (see chapter 11.3 - "Acceleration and deceleration curves").

If the density of the liquid to be centrifuged is higher than 1.2 g/cm , the value must be adapted manually in order to prevent the glass vessel from breaking.
