To Lock The Doors

Push and release the LOCK button on the RKE
transmitter to lock all doors. The turn signal
lights will flash, and the horn will chirp to ac-
knowledge the signal.
If the vehicle is equipped with Passive Entry,
refer to "Keyless Enter-N-Go" under "Things To
Know Before Starting Your Vehicle" for further
information.
Sound Horn With Lock
This feature will cause the horn to chirp when
the doors are locked with the RKE transmitter.
This feature can be turned on or turned off. To
change the current setting, refer to "Uconnect
Settings" in "Understanding Your Instrument
Panel" for further information.
To Unlatch The Trunk
Push the TRUNK button on the RKE transmitter
two times within five seconds to unlatch the
trunk.
If the vehicle is equipped with Passive Entry,
refer to "Keyless Enter-N-Go" under "Things To
Know Before Starting Your Vehicle" for further
information.

Programming Additional
Transmitters
Programming Key Fobs or RKE transmitters
may be performed at an authorized dealer.

Transmitter Battery Replacement

The recommended replacement battery is one
CR2032 battery.
NOTE:
• Perchlorate Material — special handling
may
apply.

• Do not touch the battery terminals that
are on the back housing or the printed
circuit board.
1. Remove the emergency key by sliding the
mechanical latch on the back of the RKE
transmitter sideways with your thumb and
then pull the key out with your other hand.

2. Separating RKE halves requires screw re-
moval, if equipped, and gently prying the two
halves of the RKE transmitter apart. Make
sure not to damage the seal during removal.
