    G E T T I N G S T A R T E D KEY FOB Description Of Key Fob The Key Fob contains the Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) transmitter and an emergency key, which stores in the rear of the Key Fob. The emergency key allows for entry into the vehicle should the battery in the vehicle or the Key Fob go dead.

    G E T T I N G S T A R T E D REMOTE START — IF EQUIPPED Push the REMOTE START button on the Key Fob twice within five seconds. Pushing the REMOTE START button a third time shuts the engine off. To drive the vehicle, push the UNLOCK button, insert the Key Fob in the ignition, and turn to the ON/RUN position.

With one of the vehicle's Keyless Enter-N-Go Key Fobs located outside the vehicle and within 5 ft (1.5 m) of the driver's or passenger front door handle, push the door handle button to lock all four doors and trunk.

    G E T T I N G S T A R T E D To Enter The Trunk: • With a valid Keyless Enter-N-Go Key Fob located outside the vehicle and within 5 ft (1.5 m) of the deck lid, push the button located on the center of the light bar which is located on the deck lid above the license plate.

  • Page 27 G E T T I N G S T A R T E D Air Bag Warning Light The air bags must be ready to inflate for your protection in a collision. The Occupant Restraint Controller (ORC) monitors the internal circuits and interconnecting wiring associated with air bag system electrical components.

    G E T T I N G S T A R T E D WARNING! • In a collision, an unrestrained child, even a tiny baby, can become a projectile inside the vehicle. The force required to hold even an infant on your lap could become so great that you could not hold the child, no matter how strong you are.
  • Page 33 G E T T I N G S T A R T E D Reactive Head Restraints — Front Seats The front driver and passenger seats are equipped with Reactive Head Restraints (RHR). In the event of a rear impact the RHRs will automatically extend forward minimizing the gap between the back of the occupants head and the RHR.

    G E T T I N G S T A R T E D SEATING Power Seats The power seat switches are located on the outboard side of the front seat cushions. The power seat switches are used to control the position of the seat. Adjusting The Seat Forward Or Rearward The seat can be adjusted both forward and rearward.

  • Page 36 G E T T I N G S T A R T E D Vehicles Equipped With Remote Start On models that are equipped with remote start, the heated seats can be programmed to come on during a remote start. This feature can be programmed through the Uconnect system.
  • Page 37 G E T T I N G S T A R T E D REAR SEAT Folding Rear Seat The rear seatbacks can be folded forward to provide an additional storage area. Pull on the loops located on the upper part of the rear seatback to fold down either or both seatbacks. These loops can be tucked away when not in use.
  • Page 38 G E T T I N G S T A R T E D Manual Seat Adjustment Manual Forward Or Rearward Adjustment The adjusting bar is located at the front of the seat, near the floor. Pull the bar upward to move the seat forward or rearward.

    G E T T I N G S T A R T E D Passenger Seat Easy Entry On the passenger seat, pull forward on the lever located on the side of the seatback in order to dump the seatback and slide the seat forward. You can also temporarily remove the seat belt from the guide loop on the seat and allow the seat belt to retract out of the way.

    O P E R A T I N G Y O U R V E H I C L E Rain Sensing Wipers This feature senses moisture on the vehicle's windshield and automatically activates the wipers for the driver when the switch is in the intermittent position. Rotate the end of the lever to one of four settings to activate this feature and adjust sensitivity.

    O P E R A T I N G Y O U R V E H I C L E ELECTRONIC SPEED CONTROL When engaged, the Electronic Speed Control takes over accelerator operations at speeds greater than 25 mph (40 km/h). The Electronic Speed Control buttons are located on the right side of the steering wheel.
