6 Configuring a Snapshot
Parameter Description
Select a snapshot volume to
store full-sized instant
snapshots. This parameter is
valid only when you select
Full-sized instant in
Snapshot Model.
Initial synchronization is
carried out or not before a
snapshot is created. This
parameter is valid only when
you select Full-sized instant
in Snapshot Model.
Set the DCO of the volume.
This parameter is valid only
when you select Full-sized
instant or Space-optimized
instant in Snapshot Model.
Set the DCO of the snapshot
volume. This parameter is
valid only when you select
Full-sized instant in
Snapshot Model.
Disk used for creating DCO
of volume stored or DCO of
snapshot volume stored.
This parameter is valid only
when you select Space-
optimized instant or Third-
mirror break-off in
Snapshot Model.
Set the cache size of a space-
optimized snapshot volume.
This parameter is valid only
when you select Space-
optimized instant in
Snapshot Model. The cache
size must be no more than the
free capacity of the disk group
in which the source volume is.
