Step 3 Enter the command # ioscan -unfC disk to view discovered LUNs.

You can set whether to send an alarm notification by email, and set the IP address of the Simple
Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP) server, email address of the sender, severity of alarms, and email
addresses of receivers.

To use the short message notification function of the VIS6000, you need to install a modem on the
maintenance terminal.
Set email alarm notification.
1. In the navigation tree, select the VIS6000 on which email alarm notification is to be
set.
2. On the menu bar, choose Alarm > Monitoring Setting.... The Monitoring Setting
dialog box is displayed.
3. Click the Email Notification tab and select Enable. The interface as shown in
4-61 is displayed.
