WARNING
Improper Unit Lift!
Test lift unit approximately 24 inches to verify proper
center of gravity lift point. To avoid dropping of unit,
reposition lifting point if unit is not level. Failure to
properly lift unit could result in unit dropping and
possibly crushing operator/technician which could
result in death or serious injury and possible equipment
or property-only damage.
Before preparing the unit for lifting, estimate the
approximate center of gravity for lifting safety. Because of
placement of internal components, the unit weight may be
unevenly distributed, with more weight in the coil and fan
areas. Approximate unit weights are provided in
"Dimensions and Weights" on page
submittals for actual section weights. Test the unit for
proper balance before lifting.
Always rig subassemblies or sections as they ship from
the factory. Never bolt sections together before rigging.

Skid Removal

NOTICE:
Equipment Damage!
Keep skid in place until unit is ready to set. Do not
move the unit or subassembly without the skid in
place as shipped from the factory. Premature skid
removal could result in equipment damage.
The unit ships on a skid that provides forklift locations
from the front or rear. The skid allows easy
maneuverability of the unit during storage and
transportation. Remove the skids before placing the unit in
its permanent location.

Forklifting Considerations

To lift unit with forklift, extend the forks under both ends of
the unit as indicated in
Figure
past the end of the unit. Units should only be lifted from the
proper end identified by the lifting label on the unit.
