Door Outer Handle Replacement
NOTE: Put on gloves to protect your hands.
1, Remove these items:
. Door panel (see page 20-4)
. Plastic cover, as necessary (see page 20-2)
R a i s e t h e g l a s s f u l l y .
Remove the lock rod protector (A).
-l Remove the screw.
-2 Release the protector from the latch protector
( B ) .
-3 Pull the protector down to release the hook (C)
from the door.

4. Disconnect the cylinder rod (A), and release the
retainer clip (B). then remove the lock cylinder (C).
Disconnect the outer handle rod (A).

6 . Remove the maintenance cap (B), and remove the
b o l t s s e c u r i n g t h e o u t e r h a n d l e ( C ) w h i l e h o l d i n g
the handle from outside. Release the hook (D). then
remove the outer handle protector (E).
