and insert the battery (Ref. H). Make sure the side
with the "+" symbol is facing outwards.
• Close the plastic cover and tighten the screw
(Pic. 3).

INSTALLING THE SHIFT LEVER

The shift lever (Ref. A) can be installed on either
the handlebar or the handlebar stem.
• On the handlebar: mount the handlebar support
(Ref. C) to the command lever (Ref. A) (Fig. 4) and
connect it to the lever with the screw (Ref. E) (Fig.
5 and 6).
!!WARNING!!
On Handlebars with tape apply the handlebar
cover (Ref. F) to the handlebar support (Ref. C)
before installing the shift lever (Ref. A) on the
handlebar (Fig. 7).
• Slide the strap (Ref. B) through its hole in the
handlebar support (Ref. C) (Fig. 8 and 9).
On handlebars without tape apply the anti-slip
rubber (Ref. G) to the strap (Ref. B) (Fig. 10) by
sliding the strap (Ref. B) through the hole in the
handlebar support (Ref. c) (Fig. 11) then sliding
the tip of the strap (Ref. B) through the notch on
the anti-slip rubber (Ref. G) (Fig. 12).
• Mount the shift lever to the handlebar (Ref. A)
then tighten it with the tightening handle (Fig. 13
and 14).
• On the handlebar clamp: attach the handlebar
clamp support (Ref. D) to the shift lever (Ref. A)
(Fig. 15) with the screw (Ref. E) (Fig. 16 and 17).
!!WARNING!!
When mounting to the handlebar stem, apply the
anti-slip rubber (Ref. G) to the strap (Ref. B) (Fig.
10); slide the strap (Ref. B) through the hole in the
handlebar clamp support (Ref. D) (Fig. 18 and 19),
and slide the tip of the strap (Ref. B) through the
notch in the anti-slip rubber (Ref. G) (Fig. 20).
7
• Tighten with the tightening screw (Fig. 21 and 22).
• Now you may begin training. Resistance can be
adjusted from a minimum (value 1) to a maximum
(value 8).
!!WARNING!!
The selected resistance level is visible on the shift
lever.
!!WARNING!!
At the minimum level (1), when trying to decrease
resistance, the shift lever (A) will move without
changing resistance.
At the maximum level (8), when trying to increase
resistance, the shift lever (A) will move without
changing resistance.
Note: When switching from levels 7 to 8 and from
levels 2 to 1 the lever doesn't click as it does
between other levels. The unit is functioning
normally and this is not an anomaly.
If the resistance does not change when the
selector lever is moved, please perform the
following procedure on the cable sheath:
• If the lever fails to hold the minimum resistance
position (1), tighten the hexagonal adjustment nut
until it holds the min. position in place (Pic. 23);
• If the lever fails to hold the maximum resistance
position (8), loosen the hexagonal adjustment nut
until it holds the min position in place (Pic. 24).
!!WARNING!!
When tightening the shift lever pay attention to
the adjusting cable which must not contact the
moving parts of the bicycle.

TRAINING DATA TRANSMISSION

• The hometrainer's internal sensor can measure
speed and transmit power, cadence and speed
data via radio (ANT™+ and Bluetooth Smart
protocol).
• Each type external device or app has a different
procedure for sensor search. Please check the
device's instructions for specific info.
