The following table lists the comments that can be used in ST programs.

Symbol Description
// The portion from the start symbol "//" to the end of the line is regarded
as a comment.
(**) The portion from the start symbol "(*" to the end symbol "*)" is regarded
as a comment.
A line feed can be inserted in a comment.
/**/ The portion from the start symbol "/*" to the end symbol "*/" is regarded
as a comment.
A line feed can be inserted in a comment.
