Inserting or Removing the Card

Before inserting or removing the card, switch off the instrument! This
ensures that the card is recognised correctly or that all data are saved:

Activating the Card

microSD cards must be activated before using for the first time. To do this,
open the Create new memory function in the Dialog menu and confirm
the Warning: All measurements will be deleted with Yes. 100 fixed
memory locations for measuring results are created on the card. The card
icon appears in the info bar.
Attention:
Existing memory contents are deleted when the function is selected.
If the card has already been activated, only use this function if the memory
contents are to be deleted completely!
6.2.3

Managing and Exporting the Card Contents

Select the Scan function in the Dialog menu. This manages saved
measuring results: display, print and delete individual data records.
microSD cards with 1 GB capacity accommodate at least 1,000,000 logger
data records and max. 100 memory measurements. A card size of 1-2 GB
is sufficient for standard applications.
For Data export, switch off the instrument, remove the card and connect to
a notebook or PC with a card reader. Copy the log data into the target
directory.
6.2.4

Troubleshooting

If card errors occur (instrument hangs up), remove the card and restart the
instrument. Take the incompatible card out of use!
