Operation

5.1

Key Functions

Switching on/off
Switch on: press once briefly.
To switch off: Press key briefly: Instrument displays Switch off
mode. Confirm the Switch off instrument menu item with the
Enter key. Switch off automatically after a set time can be
activated optionally. Setting range: 01-99 min.
Functions
The Enter/main menu key had two functions:
•
Confirm inputs and activate menus or menu items (Enter
function).
•
Direct selection of main menu (instrument configuration) by
pressing the key in an active measuring profile.
The back/dialog menu key has two functions:
•
Cancel or exit selected settings and menu items
(back function).
•
Direct access to the dialog menu (configuration and settings)
after instrument start or out of an active measuring profile
(process values, exit measurement).
Navigation
•
Navigate between individual menu items with down and up.
The order of the displayed channels in the active measuring
profile can also be changed.
•
Enter values with the keys (numbers 0-9).
5.2

Connecting Sensors

MC20 offers sensor sockets for flow measurement and for humidity and
temperature measurement. The flywheel sensors of the MiniAir20 and
MiniWater20 series are supported for flow measurements in air and water.
These are supplemented by a combined humidity and temperature sensor.
•
Connect the sensor plug to the instrument socket.
